I appreciate and thank the citizens of Whatcom County and the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office for your past support. Together we have successfully worked to reduce crime and violence while increasing public safety and preparedness. I am particularly proud of our work in taking the most violent, dangerous and predatory criminals off the street while working with the community to provide pathways to treatment and recovery for those suffering from mental health and substance abuse Issues; alternatives to jail for low-level offenders; and community-based policing. I am asking for your support as I seek to serve another term as your Sheriff.
